Perry Road Solar, LLC

We are proposing to lease approximately 120 acres from the Town of Milford to construct a solar farm on Perry Road. The site is currently zoned Integrated Commercial-Industrial 2.This project will generate enough clean, renewable energy to power several thousand New England homes. The Perry Road site is well-suited for solar, with plenty of land to develop this project responsibly and with minimal environmental impacts. The site’s close proximity to existing three-phase power lines will allow us to avoid construction of new poles and wires. The project will be well screened and visible from only a handful of places.

We will use best practices to responsibly develop the project with ongoing oversight from the Town of Milford and State of New Hampshire agencies including NH Fish and Game, NH Department of Environmental Services, the NH Division of Historical Resources, NH Department of Transportation, and the NH Department of Revenue.

The Perry Road project lease will provide direct economic benefits to the Town of Milford. The long term lease we have proposed to the Town for the land will generate $3.5 million dollars in new revenue over the first 25 years of the project. With renewal terms, the project lease will provide over $6.3 million dollars to the residents. Additionally, the project will generate millions in new tax revenue during the life of the project.

We are pleased to have earned the support for this proposed project from the entire Milford Select Board as well as the Milford Town Administrator. We hope to earn the support of the Milford community at the Town Elections on March 12th.
